Scotland's original, biggest and best dedicated secure off-lead exercise facility.

Opened in early September 2016. Dodside Dog Runs offers secure, off the lead, exercise areas for dogs that need the freedom to run in a large area without the worry of getting lost. Your booking gives you exclusive use of the Run so if your dog is nervous of, or aggressive towards, other dogs you can all have a relaxed time, on your own or with friends.

 

Flexible, friendly, fun

  • Prices start from as little as £5.50 per 30 minutes for up to 6 dogs (extra dogs £1 each, max 10)
  • Book up to 2 months, or as little as 20 minutes, ahead
  • Reschedule your own appointment without charge as little as 3 hours ahead
  • Really bad weather? No problem, free rescheduling at the last minute or even during your booking if a storm comes in
  • No quibble full refund for first time visitors if it doesn't suit you for ANY reason (not had one yet!)

  • The Runs aren't visible from each other (except as you pass) nor from the car park so reactive dogs can focus on fun rather than barking

  • We're on the B769 Stewarton Road 3 miles south of Whitecraigs Rugby Club (Newton Mearns)
  • Book as few or as many slots as you like and pay all at the one time
  • Pay by Paypal, debit or cards, or cash (by special arrangement)
  • Turn up, park, walk out and in no time you'll all be having a stress free time
  • Club and group meetings by private arrangement

Both Libby's Run and Harry's Run (Libby is my cocker spaniel who has gracefully allowed the runs in her back garden, Harry was her predecessor) are approximately 3 acres of grassland surrounded by 6' high 'deer' fencing which has a netting 'skirt' dug into the ground so your dog cannot easily get out even if they are a digger. There is a shelter for you to keep out the worst of the weather, bins for poo bags and fantastic views (with picnic tables), peace and quiet as well as ample parking!

 

Set in the countryside about 4 miles south of Newton Mearns, Glasgow, the Runs are on agricultural land forming part of my Smallholding so be prepared not only for lovely views over Brother Loch but for a wee bit of hiking over sometimes wet or muddy ground to get there. Your dogs will love the walk out and back, you will love seeing them run free well away from the stresses of a public park.
